Get quotes from local off-mains drainage firms
Coming soon
We’re building a simple way to get up to three quotes from local firms for emptying, servicing, new systems, drainage field work and pre-sale surveys. Until then, browse our directory of local firms and contact them directly.
How it will work
- You tell us about the job and your postcode.
- We pass your details only to the named firms below that cover your area, and only if you tick the consent box.
- They contact you with quotes. You choose whether to go ahead. There’s no obligation.
Who will receive your details
When the service launches, this list will name every partner. Nobody else will get your details.
| Partner | Area covered | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| [Partner name] | [Counties or postcodes] | Job type, postcode, name, email, phone, notes |
| [Partner name] | [Counties or postcodes] | Job type, postcode, name, email, phone, notes |
| [Partner name] | [Counties or postcodes] | Job type, postcode, name, email, phone, notes |
Your data: the full consent statement
Data controller: Off Mains Drainage, [registered business name and address], hello@offmainsdrainage.co.uk.
What we collect: the job type, your postcode, name, email address, phone number and any notes you add.
Why: to pass your enquiry to up to three partner firms who serve your area, so they can contact you with quotes for this job.
Lawful basis: your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
Who receives it: only the partners named in the table above. Each becomes a separate data controller for your details once they receive them, and their own privacy policy applies.
How long we keep it: [retention period, e.g. 12 months], then we delete it.
Payment: we may be paid by partners for introductions. That doesn’t affect the price you’re quoted.
Your rights: you can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@offmainsdrainage.co.uk. Withdrawing doesn’t affect anything already shared, but we’ll tell the partners to stop contacting you. You can also ask to see, correct or delete your data, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
No marketing: we won’t send you newsletters or sell your details.
Before you get quotes
- Know your system type. See septic tank vs treatment plant vs cesspit.
- Check typical prices: septic tank emptying, cesspit emptying and treatment plants.
- Make sure any emptying firm is on the Environment Agency’s register of waste carriers.
