“Not matched” means we could not match the trading name to the public register. It does not mean the firm is unregistered: many register under an owner's or company name. Ask for their carrier number before booking.

Every firm here is real. We took each name, town, website and phone number from the firm's own website, then looked the business up on the Environment Agency public register of waste carriers. Nobody paid to be listed. We have not used them and we are not recommending one over another.
Check a carrier before they empty your tank
Under the general binding rules, the firm that takes your sludge away must be a registered waste carrier. Ask for their carrier number, or ask the tanker driver to show the certificate. Then search the number or name on the EA register. Registration numbers starting CBDU are upper tier, the tier normally needed to carry other people's waste as a business. Keep your emptying receipts: buyers' solicitors ask for them.
